Itinerary

Ouzoud Waterfalls, (The Cascades) are one of the most wonderful sights in Morocco, particularly attractive in spring time.

The water cascades down from the top of red cliffs and the mist thrown up by the water creates an eye-catching rainbow.  Carobs and fig trees grow beside the paths and the waterfall edge, and you may see Barbary apes climbing the trees.

The waterfalls are around  a 3 hour drive, covering a distance of 130 km, 108 miles from the Red City.  At 110 m high and 94 m wide they are the highest waterfalls in the North Africa, after Victoria waterfalls in Zambia.

We recommend wearing walking shoes or training shoes, while on this excursion as there are many steps and uneven pathways. In the summer time, the cascade is a popular resort with locals, who come here to escape the heat of Marrakech and other cities.  You will enjoy a wonderful experience, walking, photographing monkeys on the way down, and going swimming.

We will have a stop for lunch.

Ouzoud Waterfall is a great place to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Central High Atlas.  You can easily book with us for an unforgettable experience.
