Formed by the Draa River as it flows south to the Sahara, the Draa Valley is a long, green oasis in a dry, rocky landscape. Known as “the date basket of Morocco”, this fertile corridor is home to many date palms, orchards and irrigated fields. The gateway to the valley is Agdz, which itself boasts a vast palmerie and a surprising number of ancient but well-preserved kasbahs. Draa Valley Trekking 8 Days is a very special Moroccan trekking adventure start with a drive south from Marrakech, across the Atlas and through the Draa Valley, to a fixed camp among-st the palm groves at Imin Takkat River,where you will meet your Touareg and Berber team of cook & camel drivers and set off on an unforgettable journey into the desert. Walking for around 6 hours a day we stop for leisurely lunches in shady spots and camp each night on the open sand of the dunes – beneath star-filled Saharan skies.Taking tea with our local crew around camp fires, hiking on little-used trails and watching the sun set between the highest dune-crests are all part of this magical desert holiday.
From starting out on the dry bed of the Draa River to reaching the highest point of the great dunes of Erg Sahel, this Draa Valley trekking invite you to enjoy the silence of the desert.

Day 01: Airport and transfer to your hotel in Marrakech or Ouarzazate Arrival at Marrakech or Ouarzazate, welcome and assistance at the airport. Transfer and night at the hotel or at raid.
Day 2
Day 02: Marrakech / Ouarzazate / Zagora – Draa Valley – Imin Takkate: Transfer by 4×4 or minibus from Marrakech or Ouarzazate to Zagora-Imin Takkate.
Day 3
Day 03: Imin Takkat – bouigawarne dunes: We are passing through a palm grove and a stony plateau, with a parade of Berber villages; along Oued Draâ to arrive at Bouigawarne dunes. 5 to 6 hours of walk. Overnight in comp in deep of sahara and beautiful dunes under stars.
Day 4
Day 04: bouigawarne dunes – Larjame dunes: Walk on small dunes dotted with trees Tamaris and then a plateau to reach the small dunes of Larjame. 5 to 6 hours walk. Overnight in Bivouac under stars.
Day 5
Day 05: Larjame dunes – Regabi dunes: Continue walking through the dunes, crossing of a rocky plateau before getting the beautiful dunes of Regabi. 5 to 6 hours walk. Overnight in Bivouac in the left side of Draa river.
Day 6
Day 06: Regabi dunes – Ouled Driss: we’re going to walk on the spectacular small dunes of Tamaris, then, through a drained Oued on to M’Ouzmou. 5 to 6 hours of walk to get Oulad Dress with its magic ksour and architecture. Overnight in comp.
Day 7
Day 07: Ouled Driss- Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech. after breakfast we’re going to load the vehicle and say good bye to our team, transfer by 4×4 or Minibus to Ouarzazate or Marrakech, overnight at the hotel or raid,
Day 08: Transfer to the airport for departure and the end of our services.
